Peter Mader
Peter Mader is Professor of Civil Law and Roman Law at the University of Salzburg. In the past he also taught at the University of Erlangen/Nuremberg in Germany and at the University of Klagenfurt in Austria. His research activities cover all areas of private law (in particular sales law and security law), legal informatics and information technology in private law (e.g. payment systems on the Internet).
He is a member of the scientific board of the International Symposium for Legal Informatics (IRIS) in Salzburg and since 2002 president of the "Salzburger Juristische Gesellschaft".
