The University of Graz brings together expertise from the fields of law (Univ.-Prof.Dr.Elisabeth Staudegger. Project Manager, Institute for Legal Foundations, Department Law and IT), Ethics / Political Philosophy ( Institute for Philosophy) and Sociology (Martin Griesbacher, HFDT). The researchers of the research network HFDT, "The Human Factor in Digital Transformation", composed of other experts from the system and regional sciences, economics, law, ethics, theology and information sciences, will be involved in quality assurance.

The team of the University of Graz, led by Prof. Staudegger, is currently involved in a Horizon2020-EU research project TRUESSEC.eu on trustworthiness in digital products and services, which serves as a basis for VERDI. The group will also bring in aspects from the research project "Normative, sociological and jurisprudential foundations for cybersecurity in Styrian companies" funded by the Province of Styria, in which UNIGRAZ cooperates with industrial partners (kick-off: 2.7.2018).

VIF:
The Competence Center - The Virtual Vehicle, Forschungsgesellschaft mbH is coordinator of the Horizon2020-EU research project SCOTT2, which deals with trust and acceptance in the Internet of Things, including mobility. The VIF team contributes its scientific expertise in the field of psychology and makes its driving simulators available.
